Rails Cookbook TOC (updated) 4 comments

Some friends of mine at work just gave the table of contents for my book a substantial face lift. It's pretty cool how they dynamically generate the TOC and content preview from our MarkLogic content repository (an XML database). See what you think:

rob, That's superb. That has to be the best improvement to a book marketing page I've ever seen. Major kudos. (Hope you liked the book review at slashdot.) # Tony

@Tony - Hey... Thanks! That was a great review. On a totally unrelated note: I studied drums with the great Tony Williams (played with Miles Davis, etc.) in San Francisco before he died. If you don't know about him already, you should check him out. You should at least own some of his signature drum sticks. ;)

Wow, brilliant drum teacher. I know a little about the drummer and have heard some of his stuff. I went an listened after I discovered he was most of the reason a Google search for "Tony Williams" doesn't have me on the first page. <g> If he has signature drum sticks I'll definitely need a set. Strangely, the drums is the one instrument I often think about learning - it suits the tone deaf admirably. :-)
